Department of philosophy and social sciences and humanities in the first year UPF 19 October was organized scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. Leading conference professor of the Department Skrypnikov Andrey V. introduced the guests: Lieutenant General retired intelligence chief of land forces of the USSR Skryabin VA and Hero of Socialist Labor, member of the board of public organization "Labor valor of Russia" Yefremov EM With a brief welcoming speech Skryabin VA, who spoke of the greatness of the feat of the Soviet people during World War II. He urged all to preserve the memory of those years that our country has gone through.

The main speaker at the conference was a war veteran, head of the military veterinary museum, chairman of the Academy Nemiroff Veterans Council Anatoly. The presentation of his speech helped prepare 1st year student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bokovenko Daria. The report Anatoly particularly stressed that, marking Victory Day, we must remember that the Second World War did not end on May 9, 1945. It continued even in the Far East with militarist Japan. Only 2 September 1945 signed a treaty of unconditional surrender of Japan, when the USSR Armed Forces defeated the Kwantung Army.

Anatoly as a member of the Manchurian operation told the students about the heroic feats of our soldiers. This is evidenced by the fact that millions of grouping the Kwantung army was completely destroyed in just ten days of fighting. Students with attention listened when speaker recalled the heroism of his fellow comrades, and the inhabitants of China enthusiastically greeted their liberators. Students learned about the crimes of the Japanese soldiers and their abuse of Chinese citizens and our soldiers were captured.

With short reports and presentations made by the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which were carried out under the supervision of Professor AV Skrypnikova Yudina Ekaterina prepared a report on the theme "My grandfather - a member of the Manchurian operation." Catherine spoke about her heroic grandfather, his speech has finished poems and encouraged all to preserve the memory of the heroes of those years.

Arinahin Michael made a speech: "The Manchurian operation," he demonstrated the course of the fighting Soviet troops. Magnitskaya Natasha prepared a report and a presentation of "Veterinary Medicine in the Great Patriotic War." Her performance of all liked the most. Natasha has collected very interesting material about animals in the war. She demonstrated a worthy contribution to the Great Victory animals and urged all of us carefully and with love to treat them. Most of all remember the story of the border dogs, which in 1941 stopped the SS Regiment offensive choice. And of course, participants listened with interest about the heroic exploits of the famous Djulbars. In his introduction Natasha showed the contribution of experts in the Animal Health Service of the common Victory.

The results of the conference summarized the head of the department of philosophy and social sciences and humanities professor Irina S. Larionov and Professor of Skrypnikov Andrey V., who praised the conference, quality reports and presentations, noted the active participation of students in the preparation and holding of the conference. They spoke about the preparatory work for the next conference dedicated to the 74 anniversary of the defeat of the Nazi invaders near Moscow.

At the conclusion of the first year students presented the guests with flowers and invited them to the next conference. it also was donated book teachers of the department "Illustrated Dictionary of the history of the Second World War", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
